Slovenia, the country that moves and creates champions
Slovenia proves that schooling, physical training and a culture of movement can produce champions while keeping the population active.
Slovenia, with just 2 million inhabitants, produces athletes who dominate the world: Roglič and Pogačar in cycling, Dončić in the NBA, Garnbret in climbing... The secret? Sport starts at school. Since 1987, the SLOfit program has been measuring the physical fitness of all pupils every year: endurance, speed, coordination, balance... The data helps to adapt teaching and keep an entire population active. The result: young people who move naturally, well-supported clubs and infrastructures, and champions who emerge almost "effortlessly". Slovenia proves that exercise should be a reflex, not a luxury.
